Sacral chakra: 6 ways to heal the sacral chakra

There are many reasons why our sacral chakra is so important to us. First of all, it is the seat of emotion, creativity and motivation in our body. Second, our life force, our energy flows through it. The energy for many of our body’s organs comes precisely from the sacral chakra; the stomach, pancreas, digestive system, sexual organs, to name a few, draw from it.

When the energy of the sacral chakra is not in harmony, it can cause many problems, such as:

anxiety,

digestive problems,

mental blocks,

libido problems,

uncontrolled emotions.

These are just a few examples of everything that can go wrong when the energy of this chakra is disturbed. Here are some tips that can help heal and calm the sacral chakra.

The power of colors

The sacral chakra is affected by the color orange. So incorporating it into our closet or using crystals with an orange hue can be a good start. Eating oranges, pumpkins and other vegetables in this color can also promote healing. Try meditating and imagine that you are at the center of an orange light that slowly works on your chakra, cleansing and rejuvenating it. Walks in the woods and park among the autumn colors of the leaves, some of which you can take home, will also be a good idea.

Ginger tea and peppermint tea

Due to its physical location, any disturbance of the sacral chakra is bound to affect the stomach. Ginger tea and peppermint can help you deal with stomach pain. Let the very act of drinking such tea be a meditation: it’s a good idea to imagine the exact heat of the tea penetrating you and helping you relax.

Breath of fire

The Sacral Chakra, although subject to the element of water, is also associated with fire. Its heat can diminish due to the stress you are experiencing. So inhale deeply into your abdomen, while imagining how you are igniting the inner fire within you.

Essential oils and heat

Their main purpose is to reignite the fire in the sacral chakra through heat from the outside. You can either apply heat directly in the form of a compress or a hot towel. Or you can generate some heat by rubbing an oil (such as sage, orange, sandalwood, etc.) into the abdomen. Whichever method you choose, you’ll find that heat helps you relax and removes blockages in the abdomen.

Affirmations

As mentioned earlier, the sacral chakra is where you draw your power from. You can stimulate it by repeating empowering affirmations. They can be something as simple as repeating to yourself “I have what I need” or a little more specific “I am now entering a time of complete happiness and fulfillment. Life is giving me everything I need on this journey.” Don’t worry if you feel that these words are not yet in line with what you are feeling and experiencing. You just have to believe that you can do it.

Creative actions

Another reason by which the sacral chakra feels blocked is that your creative energies have not found an outlet lately. Try to take actions that tap into your creativity and provide opportunities to express this accumulated creative energy. Involve the color orange to stimulate energy.
